Fans Can Have the “Night of Your Life” Experience at Kalamazoo Speedway
On Sunday evening, May 22nd, E&D’s High Performance Shop was struck by lightning and burned to the ground, not leaving much behind. This devastated the local race community as owner Dave Hedges has helped many Kalamazoo Speedway racers as well as many drivers from the 131 Motorsports Park. Dave’s true passion is Drag Racing as he has been going at it for over 30yrs. The local racers as well as the guys at 2-Legit Racing want to come together as a racing community to show Dave and everyone at E&D’s how much we appreciate them.
On Sunday May 29th, there will be a 50/50 raffle for the purpose of raising money along with a raffle that will allow a lucky fan in the stands to have the “Night of Your Life” by racing an actual Cyber Stock or an Enduro car on July 2nd or 3rd! The winning ticket holder will receive everything they need to race the car including a race ready car, safety equipment & pit support from 2-Legit Racing. Also on Sunday’s Enduro event, Jamie Miller (driving Doug Smith’s car), Maggie Zwart and Lauryn Rousseau will be offering “ride along hot laps” before this Sunday’s enduro for Donations.
Again, all proceed from all of the above mentioned events will be going to Dave at E&D’s. Raffle tickets for the “Night of Your Life” experience will be available from 5-28-11 through 6-11-11 at the track on race days and are $5 per ticket or 5 for $20.
