12-Time Continues To Lead NWAAS Michigan State Points
Current Outlaw Super Late Model point leader and 12-time champion Andy Bozell has built a 27 point lead in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Michigan State points, despite not winning yet in 2012. Bozell has been incredibly consistent, finishing in the top 5 in every event this season.
Brian Bergakker, a former Michigan State Rookie of the Year, is second in the standings. Bergakker has one win to his credit and has been the fastest car on the track at multiple times in 2012. He has however encountered problems that have caused him to finish outside of the top five twice and outside of the top ten once.
Trent “The Dent” Hellenga is currently third in the state points based on the strength of five top ten finishes in six events. Hellenga is also winless but does have two top five finishes to his credit.
