Tom Rutherford Tops Super Stock Klash Practice Day
Tom Rutherford topped practice with a lap of 13.497 on the eve of the first ever Super Stock Klash. Chris Shannon was second quickest ahead of point leader Kenny Head, Bryan VanZile and Buddy Head. Two-time Kalamazoo Klash winner Chris Orr was sixth quickest ahead of Rick VanHouten, Ben Raber, Andy Rutherford and Toby Montgomery.
Pro Stock point leader Lloyd Brooks was the quickest Pro Stock on the property with a 14.357 second lap. Former champion Greg Haynes was second ahead of Brent Hook, Keith Wilfong and Zack Cook.
Tomorrow night, June 13 is the first ever Super Stock Klash. The race will pay $5,000 to win and will be the biggest race in Super Stock history. Also in action will be the Pro Stocks, with the running of the Pro Stock Bash. This event will pay $1,500 to win.
