Double Trouble Night at the Zoo Details Announced!
Details have been announced for Double Trouble Night, which will take place Saturday, June 20th at Kalamazoo Speedway. Fans in attendance that evening will have the rare opportunity to witness over 100 cars racing twelve feature races in one night! All six divisions will run double features, highlighted by the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Outlaw Super Late Models, who will run the 7UP 25 as well as the Whelen 25. Each feature will pay full points, making this a double point night! If a driver cannot start the second feature due to a mechanical problem from running in the first feature, they will receive start money for the second feature but they will not receive points for the second feature. Below is a detailed description of how the evening will run, including lap counts, payouts and inversions for each division.
The inversion for BOTH FEATURES in all classes will be three plus the roll of one dice (4-9 car inversion). If there are less than 15 cars in a said class, the inversion will be half of the field. If there are an odd number of cars, the inversion will be rounded up (if there are 13 cars, the inversion would be 7). The first feature will be lined up based on qualifying. The second feature inversions will be lined up based on the results of the first feature. The winner of each of the first 6 features will roll the dice to determine the race lineup for the second feature.
Outlaw Super Late Models will run two 25 lap features. Payout for each feature will be as follows: $600-350-300-250-225-215-200-175-160 to start
Super Stocks will run two 20 lap features. Payout for each feature will be as follows: $350-200-150-125-110-100-95 to start
