Kalamazoo Klash XIX Lap Sponsorships Now Available!
Laps are going quickly for the 19th Annual Kalamazoo Klash set for August 17, 2011. Again this year, the track will be selling laps to racefans and businesses that would like to support short track racing. For $25, the sponsor will have their money go directly to the racer who leads that lap, adding $3,000+ to the guaranteed purse for the running of this classic.
TV coverage will again accompany the Klash for 2011, and $5 of each lap will go towards the cost of that production. This will benefit both racers and the Kalamazoo Speedway in gaining short track fans from across the area. The remaining $20 per lap sponsored goes directly to that driver. Laps 1 (“The race back to the stripe”), lap 76 (half way), and lap 101 (start of Segment 2) will be $150 laps sponsorships.
Nash Outlets, Bullet Speed Graphics, Scott’s Computer World, and Scott’s Sports Cards, Coins, and Jewelry have already purchased laps. All that’s left is for you to get involved.
The 19th Annual Klash will feature a 150 lap race, paying an impressive $10,000 to win.
