Raceceiver 50 Coming up This Saturday for Outlaw Super Late Models
Two races have been run in the 2012 Outlaw Super Late Model season at Kalamazoo Speedway and the biggest surprise might just be that a Bozell has not won either event. Despite this fact 12-time champion Andy Bozell and his son, defending champion Phil Bozell, do sit first and second in the point standings heading into the Raceceiver 50 this Saturday night. Andy leads the points with two second place finishes in the season’s first two events and will be looking to get to victory lane for the first time this Saturday night. He currently sits just 24 points ahead of his son and 71 points ahead of third place Trent Hellenga. Hellenga set quick time last week and will look to this Saturday as a chance to cut into the Bozell’s current advantage. Brian Bergakker showed that he is the real deal by driving to victory in last week’s Sun Drop 50 and has moved to fourth in the standings, just 77 points out of the lead. Rounding out the top five in points is 1995 Super Stock track champion Billy Shannon.
Raceceiver will be the sponsor for this Saturday’s event. Information on Raceceiver is available online at http://www.raceceiver.com/.
